Orianna Fielding, London born, sustainable design expert, brand creator, spatial and experiential designer,  retailer, author, broadcaster, curator and ethical change maker, is at the cutting edge of the international creative arena.

 

Her multi-disciplinary work has been featured extensively in international publications, including the Sunday Times, Huffington Post, Marie Claire, Metro, Psychologies, Elle Decoration, Wallpaper, World of Interiors, AD,  La Vanguardia, L’Architecture d’Aujourd’hui, Casa Viva, and ‘How to spend it’ of the Financial Times.


Orianna has written six books, her first two books on interior design ‘Lofts, living in space’ published by Carlton Books and ‘Modern Eclectic’ published by Mitchell Beazley, and her third book on Digital Wellness called 'Unplugged' 'How to live a mindful life in a digital world' was published by Carlton Publishing Group in January 2015. Her fourth book ' Want to connect with what matters' was published in 2016.  A revised edition of Unplugged called  'The Essential Digital Detox Plan was published in 2017 and a new edition called "How to go Digital Free' Orianna's 6th book was published by Welbeck Publishing in October 2020.

In 1994 she launched an innovative company specialising in both contemporary furniture and interior design. Orianna opened her first showroom and design practice called Pure Living in Shoreditch in 1999, exhibiting her own designed collection of large-scale contemporary furniture, lighting, screens, and rugs, together with a selection of contemporary pieces by some of Europe’s finest young designers such as Tom Dixon and Jasper Morrison.

 

In 2000 she was invited by the team of  Vittorio Rediccio, CEO of the celebrated London department store Selfridges, after attending the launch at her gallery of her curated show ‘Artificial’ to open a concept lifestyle ‘store within a store' inspired by her Gallery. The concept store ‘Pure Living Lounge” was one of the first pioneers  of mixing contemporary fashion, interiors, furniture, art & accessories with choice vintage pieces. Pure Living Lounge went onto have a cult following at Selfridges and remained in store until 2003 when the store was taken over by Galen Weston who had a different vision for the lower ground floor of the store.

 

In December 2003 Orianna went on to launch her own design consultancy in London, establishing her practice both nationally and internationally as a practice specialising in intelligent, directional design. The design schemes produced by her consultancy attracted an international celebrity client list and received regular press coverage further establishing Orianna Fielding as a prominent player in the contemporary design arena.

 

She has appeared on numerous television programmes in her capacity as an interior designer/ tastemaker including: ‘GMTV’, ‘Style World’, ‘Fantasy Rooms’, ‘This Morning’,‘ Ideal Home’ and ‘Better Homes’, and was for several years the resident interior/ lifestyle design host on UK cult daytime magazine format show ‘Richard & Judy. She co-presented the highly successful interiors programme –60 minute makeover as an interior designer / host for Granada TV and appeared as a celebrity guest on the C5 interiors series ‘20 best interiors.

 

Orianna is based in London where she consults both nationally and internationally on sustainable design and conscious brand development, wellness and empathic office design, sustainable retail design concepts, experience design and purpose driven curation projects.
